• 1986 Jay starts his Salsa dancing in the SF Bay area
• 1990 People Who Dance (PWD) was founded by Jay Byam & Tyoni Busch
• 1991 Jay started New Year's & Summer Dance Camp
• 1998 Jay adds MORE Salsa, with a full, separate ballroom dedicated to Salsa dancing
• 2000 Jay moves the Salsa Extravaganza Dance Camp to the Doral Hotel in Palm Springs
• 2001 "Summer Salsa Extravaganza” moves to the Wyndham Hotel Palm Springs. New Years Dance Camp & Salsa Extravaganza Stays at the Doral Hotel.
• 2004 Jay and the People Who Dance Staff celebrates the 13th Annual Summer Dance Camp “Salsa Extravaganza”!
